RETURN

After you have received an item you have 15 days to return it. To ensure that this process is quick and seamless, please note the following:

  • The customer support team will request you to share few images of the received product before initiating the reverse pickup.
  • Under below circumstances / situations no refunds will be applicable:
    • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or has missing parts for reasons not attributable to Birkenstock.
    • Any item that is shipped back to us 15 days after delivery.

  • In order to process your return request, we would require a receipt or any other ‘Proof of Purchase’. Once you place an order, you will receive an invoice by an email.This invoice can be a valid proof of purchase.
  • All orders that are approved for return will be picked up from original address provided at the time of Delivery. No change of address can be accommodated during the pick-up of products.
  • Please note that purchases from the online shop cannot be returned or exchanged at an offline store / showroom / Franchise (BIRKENSTOCK store or outlet), nor can complaintsabout purchases be lodged at these locations. Likewise, purchases from offline store /showroom / Franchise (BIRKENSTOCK store or outlet) cannot be returned to the onlineweb store and complaints about such purchases cannot be lodged there.

Refund of purchase price

All the refunds are processed back to your original mode of payment. For Cash on Delivery orders, the refund will be made once you provide us your bank details.

Please note refunds will be processed only after the product is received at our warehouse & all quality checks are completed & found satisfactory.

For every mode of payment, it will take 10-12 working days to process the refund. The refund process will start once we receive the product in our warehouse.

Refunds will be processed only for the amount paid by the customer during the transaction. The amount availed as discount via coupon code will not be refunded. Re-validation of the coupon code will be a decision taken by the customer service team on case to case basis.

Once your request for refund has been approved, you will get a confirmation on e-mail & our customer care team will contact you for transferring the amount back to your given account details.

Cancellation Policy

Under any circumstances, if you wish to cancel the placed order, you can do so by logging into your account or getting in touch with our Customer Care representatives. However, you can cancel your order online as long as the product has not been dispatched from our warehouse.

In case the product has been shipped out and then the cancellation request is received, the refund will be subject to deduction of 2.5% as cancellation charges.

Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, Incase of prepaid order, itwill take us a maximum of 1-2 working days to approve the refund request of cancelled order. Once the request is approved, it will take 3-4 working days to initiate a refund. Any amount paid will be credited into the same account using which the payment was made. You will be notified of the same by E-mail or an SMS.

Additionally, you can get in touch with our customer care services to initiate cancellation of the order.

Shoe Care Kit – Return / Exchange and Refund

Once products are delivered to you and accepted as accurate and as per the original order, there is no refund or exchange possible.

To return any items that are damaged or not as per your original order, please inform customer service via call or email within 48 hours of the delivery along with images of the delivered product (Please ensure that the size of the email does not exceed above 2 MB).

Quality check for the product will be done once the product is received in the warehouse. If the product is found to be damaged, used, or tampered with, the product will be re-shipped to the customer and refund will not be initiated.

All damaged item or items not as per the order that are to be returned must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt, a return / exchange authorization number and in saleable condition, otherwise the same will not be taken back.

Postage and charges for return of these will not be refunded.

Please note that we cannot offer exchanges or refunds on any sale of used products.

Please allow one to three weeks from the day you return your damaged package or an item not as per your order, for your refund request to be processed. You will be contacted once your return is complete.

REPLACEMENT POLICY

  1. Replacements of the products ordered can be done if there is a size issue or there is a manufacturing defect in the product.
  2. In case of size issues, the customer needs to communicate the desired size with the customer service team within 15 days of receiving the product. The customer support team will request you to share a few images of the received product before initiating the reverse pickup. The product which is being returned needs to be intact with no damage to the product or the box packaging of the same. All the accessories, freebies also must be returned in its original condition.
  3. Only size replacements will be possible. We do not allow color replacements.
  4. The stock for the desired size will be blocked only after the original ordered product is picked up from the customer's location. In the meanwhile, if the desired product runs out of stock, Birkenstock will process a refund for the amount paid while placing the order.
  5. For manufacturing defects, the same product will be reshipped after the originally ordered product is picked up from the customer’s location.
  6. If Coupon codes are used and amount is to be refunded, the coupon code value will not be refunded or the code will not be reinstated.

Return & Replacement Policy for DISCOUNTED MERCHANDISE

  1. There will be no return or replacement given for any discounted merchandise
  2. Only size replacement can be availed if a request is raised to Customer Care within the first 7 days of purchase on the account of stock availability.
  3. Birkenstock India Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to cancel an order on account of non-availability, quality check, and any unforeseeable factor related to goods.
  4. In case of order cancellation, the customer will be informed via email.
