Optimal Fit In Two Widths
Unfortunately, foot pain is one of the most common complaints people have. Much of the pain that people feel when they run, walk and stand is the result of wearing the wrong shoes. In order to correct this – and this can be done – we offer you a choice of two different widths for many of the models in our shop.
regular
We offer Regular Width shoes, sandals and clogs for normal and healthy feet.
narrow
We offer Narrow Width shoes, sandals and clogs especially for slim and narrow feet.
Please be sure to choose the correct width when selecting and ordering footwear. Your feet should be nestled in the footbed. This means that they should not rest on the inside and outside of the footbed edge. Just as with a regular bed – you don’t lie on the edge.

The color-coordinated premium nappa-leather lining of the footbed offers sophisticated comfort, while the matte silver buckles add a restrained detail.- Upper: luxurious smooth leather with a brown natural-colored base
- Footbed: anatomically shaped BIRKENSTOCK cork-latex footbed, lined with premium nappa leather matching the color of the upper material. The footbed edges are covered with a thinner version of the upper material to create a monochrome look.

Material
Footbed: Natural cork
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
Insole: Real leather

Outsole: EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with extremely good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.
Upper: Natural Leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
